In the Name of God Amen I Richard Gadd of West Horsley in the County of Surry being in good health and of Sound and Perfect mind and memory Praised be Almighty God for the same Do make Publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) ffirst and Principally I Commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named and as touching Such temporall Estate wherewith Almighty God has blessed me I dispose thereof as follows Imprimis I give and bequeath to my Kinsman Henry Gadd of West Clandon twenty shillings of lawfull mony of Great Brittaine Item I give and bequeath to my Kinsman Abraham Gadd of Worplesdon ten pounds of like lawfull money Item I give and bequeath to my Kinsman Christopher Gadd of Ditton five pounds of like lawfull money Item I give and bequeath to my Kinswoman Katherine Gadd and Sister to the before named Henry Gadd five pounds of like lawfull money Item I give and bequeath to my Kinsman John Chipping of East Horsley five pounds of like lawfull mony and to the children of the said John Chipping tenn pounds to be divided amongst then equally by my Executor hereafter named Item I give and bequeath to my Brother in Law John Cook ten pounds of like lawfull mony All which Legacys before mentioned shall be paid by my Executor within one yeare after my death Item all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattells ready money at Interest other monys and personall Estate whatsoever (after my debts and Legacies paid and funeral Expences discharged) I Give and bequeath to my Kinsman William Gadd of Cobham whom I make Constitute and appoint Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said Richard Gadd have to this my last Will and Testament Sett my hand and seale the Seventh day of October in the twelfth yeare of the reigne of Our Soveraigne Lady Queen Anne of Great Brittaine annoq Domini 1713  /  The mark of Richard Gadd /
