William Giles - Yeoman

of the Parish of Yately in the County of Southampton
 

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Giles of the Parish of Yately in the County of Southampton Yeoman (that is to say) I give devise and bequeath unto my two Sons William Giles and Henry Giles All my Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments situate at Yately aforesaid and at Sandhurst in the County of Berks or elsewhere in the Kings Dominions And also all my household Goods and furniture ffarming Stock Implements of Husbandry ready money and Securities for money and all other my Real and Personal Estate and Effects that I may happen to be possessed of or interested in or intitled unto To hold unto my said Sons William Giles and Henry Giles their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns according to the nature and quality of the said Estates and Property respectively as Tenants in common and not as joint Tenants Subject nevertheless to the payment of all my just debts and funeral and Testamentary Expences and also the following legacies (that is to say) I give and bequeath unto each of my Daughters Mary Ann the Wife of Thomas Bunch and Susannah the Wife of George Halfacre the Sum of twenty Pounds To my Grandson John Giles the son of the said Henry Giles the Sum of fifteen Pounds To my Grandson John Giles son of the said Henry Giles the Sum of fifteen Pounds and to Mary Ann Giles the illegitimate daughter of the said Susannah Halfacre the Sum of ten Pounds All which Debts Expences and legacies I will and direct shall be paid by my Executors hereinafter named within twelve months next after my decease And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Sons William and Henry Giles joint Executors of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the ninth day of December in the Year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three
