Thomas Drewett - Yeoman

of Bucklebury in the County of Berks

 

The last Will and Testament of me Thomas Drewett of Bucklebury in the County of Berks Yeoman being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make Publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say ffirst I hereby strengthen and confirm the will of my late son Thomas and the Proper Gifts of my late Wife Secondly all my Household Goods and ffurniture of all Sorts I give unto my son Benjamin my Daughter Sarah and my Granddaughter Betty Parr equally to be divided and shared between them share and share alike Thirdly I Give unto my Daughter ffrances Ten Pounds to be Paid immediately on my decease into her own hands and her receipt alone without her Husband to be sufficient fourthly I Give my son John one hundred and fifty Pounds on my decease ffifthly after paying above Legacies and Charges therewith and also subject to and Charged with my Just Debts ffuneral and Testamentary Expences and all other Charges I Give Devise and Bequeath all the rest residue remainder and residuum of my Real and Personal Estates unto and equally among the present and future Children at my decease of my said Son John Son Benjamin of my Daughter ffrancis by White of my Daughter Sarah and of my Granddaughter Betty Parr equally to be paid every one of such Children which I think are about thirty in all to be equally paid and shared among and between and to such Children at his her or their Respective Age and Ages of one and twenty years with all Interest made thereof of each Child’s share And Lastly hereby revoking every other I declare this to be my last Will and Testament and my Eldest son and Heir at Law the said John sole Executor In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Drewett the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this 5th Day of December 1774 in the 15th Year of King George the 3 rd Reign The mark of Thomas Drewett
