Nancy Franklin of the Parish of Moreton Pinckney in the County of Northampton In the name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me Nancy Franklin of the Parish of Moreton Pinckney in the County of Northampton made this sixth day of May in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and forty I give and bequeath all my personal property or real Estates and all that share thereof which was left to me by my Uncle Richard Franklin which share shall fall to me unto the person or persons hereafter named at the decease of my father William Franklin in the following manner After payment of my just Debts and funeral expences that is to say I give and bequeath to my Sister Betsey Hemmings children consisting of William Hemmings Ann Hemmings Thomas Hemmings Samson Hemmings Sarah Hemmings John Hemmings and Emma Susanna Hemmings the whole of my property personal and real to be divided amongst the said William Ann Thomas Samson Sarah John and Emma Susanna Hemmings to them their Heirs and Assigns for ever subject to the following conditions that is to say I give and bequeath to the above named Ann Hemmings the sum of five pounds of lawful money of Great Britain More than either of the other above named in case any of the above named person die without having children or before they are possessed of such share then such share or shares shall be equally divided amongst such of the above named persons as are living and I appoint Mr Joseph Brockliss of Moreton Pinckney as sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Mark and seal this sixth day of May in the Year of our Lord 1840
