Welcome to our Guest Book - Entries 1 to 50

Please contact me to report any broken links or e-mail address's

Do you happen to have a certificate that you have acquired in error?

Then why not go to the 'Submit-Form' and send me the details.

If you happen to have any other document of interest that you wish to share with us all,

then please contact me by Email, as I am sure that I can accommodate them on this site.

Then I can post them on this list in the hope that someone, researching the same family name recognises it as being one of their family relations.

It's about time someone put this idea into action - and this site is so well-designed too (and FREE!...what a bonus!)

Thankyou so much :)

I have actually found one possible link to someone here... looking into it.

In the meantime, here's a list of all the rellies I'm trying to trace ..

RUMMEY (Exact spelling) from Winchester/Hampshire areas pre-1880

leading to (Rose Mary) PINK, (Annie Jane and father Francis) HAYES, & PAICE (soldier - may have been posted in Scotland but also throughout England)

BINHAM from Devonshire (also a list of orphanages and naval orphanages Devon area 1871-1891) - especially any links via the names COYDE and TULLY. Would also like any information regarding COYDE name pre-1871 devon area.

LEE and CLEVETT from Sussex (inc Brighton & Hove), Hampshire and possibly Devon.

SMALE from the Devon and, later, Hampshire areas.

Hello Everybody

Thought that I better place a posting here in reply to the question in the guestbook entry 27 below. The main reason that I started this site was for us to try and pass on our bmd certificates that we have bought, and then found not to be for the person that we hoped, I agree that a site for listing All certificates that we have sounds good, but unfortunately it would be too much for me to handle on this site, as I set up this site as a sub-domain on my Ward Family Website, and I am limited as to how much I can upload on the price scale that I am on. There is already a site that does this service - http://www.ukbdm.co.uk/  it did start off as a Free site, but it has now gone commercial, and they charge for the service. (I can assure you all that This Site will remain FREE) They say they have over 90,000 bmd certificates, (Possibly why they have gone commercial!!). Way too many for me to sort out and post on here.

I appreciate all the comments made on this guestbook, and thank you all very much for using this site and making it work.

We do however list over 50 Wills now, and these will stay on the site for future reference.

Best wishes to you all and I wish you all well in your research.

An excellent site!! However, why does it have to be for certificates bought by mistake only? Why can't people just list the info on any certificate they own in the hope of contacting a relative and/or gaining more information?
